The 17.0-kWh battery pack of this Jeep model is said to provide only about 25 miles of electric drive, but Jeep says that is enough for just a few hours of slow-moving road. When the battery runs out, the four-cylinder with turbo can drive all four wheels like a regular Wrangler, so you should not worry about being strapped without charge.
The 285-hp 3.6-liter V-6 of the previous generation Wrangler fits under the new JL and can be connected to a six-speed manual gearbox or an eight-speed manual transmission.
