Jeep recently revived the Grand Wagoneer nameplate as the new flagship SUV in its lineup. The follow-up iteration arrives with some new standard and optional features, but the most notable update is the introduction of the 2023 Grand Wagoneer L. Jeep uses the L designation to signify extended-wheelbase versions of its vehicles, and the new L model is now available at Marina Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. The Series I may be the most well-equipped base model in the class. The Series II adds more technologies, including a digital rearview mirror, and the top-spec Series III includes most of the options available for the Series II, such as quilted leather upholstery. The Obsidian model previously offered has been dropped in favor of a similar Carbide appearance package that you can now opt for it with any of the three core trim levels.
The 2023 Grand Wagoneer L has a longer wheelbase by 7 inches, which is what allows for all of that additional cargo space. The overall length is increased by 12 inches, which puts it at 226.7 inches—or about a tenth of an inch shy of 19 feet. The exterior is otherwise the same as the standard model. The Series I has 20-inch alloy wheels, retractable running boards and a hands-free liftgate. The Series II has 22-inch wheels and opens up more options, such as adjustable roof rails and color-tinted windows. As mentioned in the introduction, if you prefer the blacked-out look, you now have the option of the Carbide package with any of the available trim levels, which gives the consumer more flexibility.
The Grand Wagoneer L is available with seating for eight in 2-3-3 arrangement or seating for seven in a 2-2-3 arrangement. The standard model was already spacious when it came to passenger volume, so that remains the same. Headroom ranges from 41.3 inches in the first row to 39.0 inches in the third. First-, second- and third-row legroom are 40.9, 42.7 and 36.6 inches, respectively. The big difference here is the cargo space. With all three rows in use, the standard Grand Wagoneer provides you 27.4 cubic feet of space whereas the L model provides a whopping 44.2 cubes. There is also more space available if you expand the cargo area by folding any of the rear seating. The Grand Wagoneer is designed as four-wheel-drive vehicle, so all models sold and leased through our location serving Webster Penfield Rochester Irondequoit New York have that drive layout. Standard features include proximity keyless entry, push-button ignition, remote start and a 115-volt outlet.

Standard driver-assistance technologies include a 360-degree surround-view camera system, adaptive cruise control, a head-up display, frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic warning, lane departure warning with lane keeping assist and an automated parking system. Options include driver attention monitoring, a digital rearview mirror and a front cross-traffic warning.
