The Ram 1500 continues to be one of the most popular, critically acclaimed and capable full-size pickups on the market, and the team at Marina Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is thrilled to announce that we now have the 2023 model available to test-drive, purchase and lease. The most notable updates for the new model are that it gets an exterior refresh that modernizes its aesthetic and Ram now gives you the option of a multifunction tailgate. You still have the option of the same core trim levels. The Tradesman and fuel-efficient Tradesman HFE are minimalistic work trucks. The Big Horn makes that base package more appealing to the average consumer. The Laramie is the well-equipped Ram 1500. The Rebel is configured for off-road enthusiasts. The Limited Longhorn is a luxury model. The Limited is the top-spec standard model, and the TRX is a performance-oriented pickup like none other on the road.
There are some other notable differences between the quad and crew cabs. The crew cab has four full-size doors whereas the quad cab has smaller rear doors. The quad cab is limited to the 6-foot-4-inch bed while the crew cab gives you the choice of that bed or a 5-foot-7-inch bed. The quad cab is also limited to the Tradesman, Tradesman HFE and Big Horn trim levels. Beyond that point, only the crew cab is available. The base model has 18-inch steel wheels and heated, powered outside mirrors. The Big Horn has alloy wheels and chrome bumpers. The Laramie adds all LED exterior lighting and more chrome. The Longhorn has 20-inch wheels and side steps. The Limited has power-deployable running boards, and the new multifunction tailgate is now available as an option with all trim levels.
Ram gives you the choice of either a quad cab or a crew cab. Both of these are extended cabs with two rows and seating for up to six. The main difference is the rear legroom. The quad cab certainly provides enough for adults at more than 35 inches, but the crew cab provides more than 45 inches, which can make a significant difference if you often drive with adult passengers in the rear seat especially for long distances. The work trucks have a vinyl interior. Cloth seating, carpeting and a leather-wrapped steering wheel become standard with the Big Horn. The Rebel has unique cloth-and-vinyl seating. Leather seating becomes standard with the Laramie, and the upper trim levels feature more robust seats.
Remote keyless entry, trailer sway damping and a cabin air filtration system are standard with all Ram 1500 models available through our location serving Webster Penfield Rochester Irondequoit New York. Push-button ignition and remote engine start become standard starting with the Laramie. Class IV trailering equipment is standard with the Rebel and up. The Limited has a four-corner air suspension that not only improves ride comfort but allows you to adjust ride height. The TRX is the most mechanically diverse model and features numerous performance upgrades.
Another great reason to test-drive the 2023 Ram 1500 near Rochester is to determine whether you prefer the standard V6 or optional V8. All models feature an eight-speed automatic transmission. With most trim levels, rear-wheel drive is standard, and four-wheel drive is optional. The 3.6-liter V6 generates 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. The eTorque system, which improves fuel performance is included standard. The 5.7-liter V8, which is available with or without eTorque, generates 395 hp and 410 lb.-ft. Customers who prefer diesel have the option of a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel V6—260 hp and 480 lb.-ft.—and a supercharged 6.2-liter V8—702 hp and 650 lb.-ft.—is exclusive to the TRX. The maximum towing capacity is 12,560 pounds.
Driver-assistance technologies are optional beyond the base 2023 Ram 1500 available through our location serving Webster Penfield Rochester Irondequoit New York, and your options expand the further you move up the range. Some of that equipment becomes standard later in the lineup as well. The front collision mitigation system, for instance, is standard starting with the Laramie. The Longhorn adds front and rear parking sensors, and the Limited adds the bigger touch screen and blind-spot monitor.
